  Medicare not at all helpful. I was told that there was no one there to help me with a simple request. I was told to return the following day and hope for the best. Not a great solution when you work full time.

  Go in there, speak to the greeter at the front 50/50 percent of the time you'll either be told to sit down and wait for someone or take it to the phone and trust me I have taken my issue to the phone and was informed by a person working there I would be put on an express line to be answered quickly.

  Save yourself the trip unless you really need to go in here because depending what you need to do they'll just want you to take it up with a Centerlink phone agent where you wait hours upon hours at the most for anyone to pick up and you'll have good luck if they don't hang up on you the moment they answer or get a busy tone and have to start from square one on getting back to them again.

  Horrible service and help. These days they direct you to use their computers and go on mygov site but the my gov site crash and then I try to go home to do it myself but I can't get their help when I'm at home and there's no number I can call to get an centrelink operator to help.

  I just wish Centerlink was better than this but I guess the health minister gives no hoots about it and wants service to be this low. Maitland branch has disgusting service but what's to be expected when Centerlink has told their staff to not be helpful to people and direct them to a phone agent instead?

  Not very helpful keep refuring you to ring online what do they then get paid for its surely not for looking after the people . I have worked all my life to be reduced to this.
